According to § 35a EStG of the German tax law, private clients may reduce their expenses for household-related services by up to 20%, or 4.000 € per year, if the service was performed in their own home. The only condition is that the client must keep an invoice of the service and the payment may not be fulfilled with cash. Please consult your tax adviser for more information.
